巨大組織が身内の社員にかける圧力
■森友事件で初めて、自分の仕事に納得できました
「いい記者になれたかな、と思ったのは、記者生活31年で、この2年くらい。それまでの29年は自分に自信が持てないことのほうが多かったですね。森友事件を必死に追いかける中で、記者として初めて自分の仕事に納得できるようになりました」
そう語るのは、元NHK記者で、現在は大阪日日新聞記者の相澤冬樹氏。話題の書籍『安倍官邸vs.NHK』の著者だ。学校法人、森友学園への国有財産の格安売却と、それに関わる決裁文書の改竄。その森友事件を明るみにする報道を引っ張ったのが、NHKだ。
中でも相澤氏は2016年7月から大阪司法キャップとして、キーマンだった大阪府私立学校審議会の梶田叡一会長の直撃取材や、籠池泰典理事長（当時）のインタビューなどで「特ダネ」を連発した。本書では、その痺れるような現場、記者の粘り強い取材が、丁寧に描かれている。
しかし相澤氏が出す特ダネニュースには度々、上層部から圧力がかかる。そして、18年5月、相澤氏へ考査部への異動の内示が下される。命じた報道部長は「不本意なことになって申し訳ありません」と詫びた。相澤氏は、NHKを辞めた。
「いい記者にはいろいろな定義があります。取材相手の思いに寄り添える記者、我慢強く取材を続けられる記者。そしてもちろん、スクープをとってくる記者です。
森友事件に関しては、私が意図していなかった人から情報がもたらされることもありました。籠池さんからも、真摯に約束を守ることで、率直な話を聴くことができた。当事者の役人とも、関係を築いて情報を聞き出すことができた。その意味で、ようやく少しはいい記者になれたかなと」
報道から2年がたとうという現在でも、事件はいまだ謎が多い。土地の「値下げ」のプロセス。どうして公文書の改竄がおきたのか。そして、近畿財務局職員の自殺――。
「政権がどうかとか、最初から考えているわけではありません。とにかく、おかしなことが起こっているのだから、記者として真実を明らかにしたい。NHKで取材ができないのだから、辞めた。それだけです」
相澤氏は、この取材中もNHKへの批判を口にしなかった。
「NHKへの愛があるんですよね。現場にいるかつての仲間たちは素直に応援したいし、上層部にも、報道機関として踏ん張ってほしいと思っています」

in the US was good" then they'd replied "so you admit it worked"
??? I do need to admit that their effort of lying is way above the usual levels that we expect,

their fantasies but not the fact. If they hear the fact, it is not that something
that they cannot tolerate so they start punishing those people using their power,
naturally you start talking naturally, you start feeling empathy naturally, you start feeling guilt when you do something wrong natually
Expect, LDP and Dentsu. They'll start lying naturally, they'll start misleading people naturally, they'll start to lynch those who doesn't obey them naturally,
