鈴置:米国務省が「いつまで慰安婦を問題化するつもりか」と公開の場で韓国政府を叱りました。3月12日の定例会見での出来事です。

　聯合ニュースの記者が「A・ブリンケン（Antony　Blinken）国務長官が来週（※17〜18日）訪韓する。その際に会いたい、と93歳の元慰安婦が手紙を出したが、面談は検討されているのか」と聞きました。

　これに対するN・プライス（Ned price）報道官の答から、ポイントを引用します。

・We have long encouraged Japan and South Korea to work together on history related issues in a way that promotes healing and that promotes reconciliation. As we stated at the time, we welcome specific efforts, including the 2015 Comfort Women Agreement, as an example of the two countries’ commitment to forging a more productive and constructive bilateral relationship.

　米国は長らく日韓に歴史問題を解決するよう求めてきた。米国は2015年の慰安婦合意など具体的な努力を歓迎する。それは両国がより生産的で建設的な二国間関係に進むとの合意の好例である――と言ったのです。

　プライス報道官は外交的な修辞にくるみましたが、日韓は2015年の慰安婦合意を通じ歴史問題を解決した。韓国は蒸し返すのか、と怒ってみせたのです。
